Best at what? Is there a weakness in the party you want to shore up or a strength you want to boost further? A Blink Dog is probably the most unobtrusive (as I remember, they don't look all that different from regular dogs). – Simon Gill Oct 10 '12 at 0:05
If you're objectively looking for "best" then the owlbear is the best option. If you're looking for something more specifically then we need a lot more information. – wax eagle Oct 10 '12 at 13:03
