A story focused, GM-less system styled on the Coen Brothers films

Fiasco is a story focused RPG system by Bully Pulpit Games. The system is designed to create stories similar to the films of the Coen Brothers, involving, as its tagline suggests, characters with "powerful ambition and poor impulse control".

Fiasco games can have 3-5 players and doesn't require a GM. It requires 2 black d6 and 2 white d6 dice.

The game starts with a Setup phase where players use the dice to create Relationships, Needs, Locations and Objects that connect the characters and give motivation and flavour. After that, players take turns doing scenes, which the active player can either decide the start or end. The outcome of scenes gives players either white or black dice. Halfway through the game, players use their dice in the Tilt, which adds extra elements that cause more conflict and problems for the characters. At the end of the game, players use the dice to determine their character's eventual fate, which gets played out in the Aftermath.
