If they were in a form with less health, shift to Gauru and gain health, and that extra health still isn't enough to have their health total fill in such that there is at least one unchecked health box, then they are unconscious because Death Rage ends at unconsciousness. Therefore, even if the damage skips over the wounded health boxes, they are ...

No, just as the don't own the Hairdresser or the corner store in the territory. However, if the players want to play a game about owning a bar, and you are happy to tell a story about a pack of werewolves who own a bar, then go for it. Give them a bar, they own it. Why not? You don't need mechanics to signify owning a business You might like to tie there ...

Spirits and realms that exist in the same place at the same time. I have the impression you are looking for a broad answer to conceptual understanding, I will attempt to provide. Q: I don't get spirits and the shadow world, not at like a mechanics level, but at like a conceptual level. I don't understand how the shadow world overlaps ours? A: The ...

This is probably not suitable for the setting you play in, but for those who start a new campaign and make their setting for scratch, or play in a setting where this is possible (I'm sure the question title will attract some of them): make your calendar lunar based. That's what I do in my campaign: I take account of the date, it's not so difficult (how many ...

I GM'ed a game of Scion and one of the PCs had the power to watch a scene from aerial perspective IF the moon already rose. So I searched the web and finally found http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/moonrise.html The only thing you have to do is keep track of the date.

I will give my understanding to this and a couple of links that may help you. Regarding how they overlap: I have always viewed this as the two worlds (material and shadow) exist in the same place at the same time. So if you Move through the gauntlet either way you end up in the same location you were but in a different place of existence. Therefore in ...

In the past, I used one of several methods for moon phases. I've almost always tracked time in play, at least to the day. Method 1: Tide Table Books I would pick up (usually for free) leftover out of date tide table booklets picked up at the end of fishing season. I then used that, despite being the wrong year, as the "official" tide and moon phases for ...

One solution we used was to pick the date our campaign was set in and use a moon phase website (e.g., stardate.org) to keep track of what the phase was for any given day. As time passed in game, we could just look up the phase when we needed it.

The Territories book exactly answers your question. You can "purchase" area advantages with merit dots. These territory advantages then offer bonuses to skills or discounts to purchasing skills, like a gym giving a 1xp discount to purchasing dots in strength, brawl or weaponry.

The first thing I thought of for finding other Garou when you aren't"in the know" for the area is to try some howls as you go. Keep your most perceptive pack mate on alert, throw out a couple howls of introduction when you're confident the enemy isn't around. It's always worth doing your research though, as kadu suggests. Maybe talk to a few spirits for ...

I think it all depends on the kind of person(/garou) the character is. Which begs the question, why did they run off unprepared in the first place? Are they reckless, overconfident or just not expecting any trouble? There are many ways to try and find a pack, and each requires a set of abilities. I'll suggest a few. Starting with human abilities: If ...

In the words of my current Storyteller, running a WtF game... "Hahaha! No." To elaborate, there are circumstances that would allow someone to own said bar, but most of those circumstances would require spending merit dots or something along those lines at the very least. One possible circumstance is having it granted due to connections, but again that ...

Probably Not I'm not a huge WoD gamer, and my primary experience is with VtM, but the way that territory works doesn't imply that you literally own everything in the territory. Even a hangout isn't necessarily "yours". You might have some say over who gets to go there (for instance, vampires consider territory to be theirs and claim feeding rights on its ...

No. From the passage you have quoted: (emphasis added) potentially gaining more Health dots if he wasn’t already in Gauru form

There are some fan-made rules here: Onyx Path Forums. Official values will come in The Idigam Chronicle; they've already stated that Harmony won't be purchasable. There's more info on the conversion in the blog in the last link. A brief summary: The same costs as in Blood and Smoke, basically. Experience Attribute: 4 Experiences per dot Merit: ...

A relic is most likely (though not necessarily) a fetish or a locus, I think. If it is a fetish, detecting them is simple: Fetishes are what would otherwise be mundane items or elements fashioned together and made into vessels or traps for spirits. (...) Recognizing a fetish or talen for what it is requires an Intelligence + Occult roll. – ...
