In Wraith: the Oblivion, characters are ghosts who fight to avoid Oblivion and resist their own evil side.

Wraith: the Oblivion was the fourth game in White Wolf's classic World of Darkness series. In it, players play ghosts trying to fulfil their desires and goals from life while keeping themselves safe from enemies, like ravenous spectres and relentless Hierarchy patrols. One such enemy is their own darker nature, called the Shadow, who is portrayed in the game by another player at the table. This challenging mechanic, known as Shadowguiding, is an innovation of W:tO, although other games have drawn upon it since.
