comment How do I model a PC being swallowed by a dragon in D&D4e?
@Iszi Shrink your player in some way. Summon tenser's disk at an opportune moment, say as you're going past the throat area of the dragon. Hope dragons only have scales on the outside. Hope your friends get to you before you get fully digested

comment How do I make my role playing group a not exclusively male one?
There might be something to be said about gaming preferences. It's probably worth pushing towards a more balanced game (ie, it's worth making sure there opportunities to modify the campaign/game in ways which munchkins, storytellers, roleplayers, socialites, etc... enjoy). It's easy to then chat with the new potential player a bit in advance, and modify the first few sessions to be a bit better tailored to their tastes (planning to adjust the game to include more of the elements they enjoy in the long term if they stay)

comment Can Thieves' Cant be understood without a level in Rogue?
think of it as understanding en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cockney - it's more a matter of understanding the local dialect, shared history/culture and practice than anything else

comment How can I make D&D 4e work as a “play by post” game?
@Zachiel some of the work can be offloaded - the player can send back an updated flow, including some of the changes after his interruption

comment What to do when a player loses or forgets their character sheet?
We usually had an assigned "book-keeper" - who kept and managed the character sheets - and someone would have to visit him before a session to bring the sheets if he's not going to be there. Sometimes the DM works better since he has to be at every session anyways - but the DM already has way too much work on his plate, imho
