Playing D&D 4e with two players you can mess around with various encounter types if you also throw in some support NPCs, to join the team for 1-2 encounters as appropriate. |

Can I use exotic materials to make armor? Yes, but it's not specifically spelled out. Check out the answer to this question: rpg.stackexchange.com/questions/10952/… |

Is there an online service to convert play transcripts into narrative fiction? @BrianBallsun-Stanton I'm very tempted to try it, but it sounds like a non-trivial time commitment - I'd have to experiment for a while, before I can find a workable solution (if one exists). I'll try posting to a local RPG board, and maybe craigslist, first, to see if I can solve this more quickly. |

Is there an online service to convert play transcripts into narrative fiction? Minimal time. 20-50 per session, I'd guess, depending on how much my players are willing to pitch in |

Does Armor have a base +1 AC if made for tiny creatures? I forget, do size differences cause to-hit adjustments in 3.5? I might apply the full armour for tiny-on-tiny violence |

How to handle the PCs within a large military? I've tried several variations on this theme and liked them all. It follows the general pattern for related games, books, etc... Turns out that few people enjoy reading/playing/studying detailed information about large scale battles. |

What are ways player characters could awake an ancient evil? ... our bard started drunken' dancing and accidentally unplugged the graviton generator at the centre of the earth. We plugged it back in almost immediately, but it was unplugged for just long enough, to get the planet slowly but surely shifting off orbit (etc...) |

Game system recommendation - D20 system like DnD4E but faster level up rate After some independent research we reached the same conclusion. Thanks! |

Are there rules for knocking a character unconscious without inflicting dramatic wounds? We used 1:1, and it worked well for us. The weapons are supposed to be blunted, after all. |

Are there rules for knocking a character unconscious without inflicting dramatic wounds? With our rules, immediately once combat is over. With some leeway, of course. A character which falls unconscious is, for example, assumed to stay unconscious for long enough to be tied up, etc. |

What effect does shooting Tenser's Floating Disk out of a catapult have? That only tells me I have to get more creative. Maybe the catapult launches a significant chunk of the ground, and I'm inside of it. Forgot about the height limits :( |

Chuck Norris player character - can I keep true to the internet meme while still running a balanced game? This has been working out quite well. A character with a bit of a reputation, a lot of kicking power and charisma, selective memory about failures, and a tendency to embellish his stories and create alibis that reinforce them |

Are there any serious smartphone apps for handling combat in a LARP situation? I bet siri would be very useful for LARP type situations |

Is the concept of a mutable game system viable? This is exactly the type of game I've been thinking about. The reverse would also be true, aka "The Mountain of Dwarven Inability To Tolerate Alcohol" |

Are there any serious smartphone apps for handling combat in a LARP situation? I'm looking for any single example which works. Most systems end up being relatives of RPS, but are occasionally (typically home made ones, though I think some of the more popular Vampire: The Masquerade rules fit) more complicated. Maybe I'll have better luck looking into AR games? |

Is there a penalty for holding a two handed weapon in offhand while throwing a weapon? Could the minor draw action be avoided with a clever choice of storage device for the axe? Drawing an arrow is considered a part of shooting a bow, after all |

What are the most popular/well known larp systems that meet our requirements? Could a group-level solution work? For example, setting up sessions with different goals in mind - splitting the fighting out into fighting sessions, magic out into magic sessions and taking the roleplaying separately? |

Has anyone adapted Otto's Irresistible Dance to the 4e rules? Dislike. Also, can't believe I missed that. I'm going to have to roll my own. |
