I have been playing roleplaying games since 1986, initially with the BXCMI Dungeons and Dragons, then moving to Rolemaster in it's many forms. I have both played and GM'ed and if pushed to decide would say I prefer to GM.
Other systems I have played/run include Spacemaster, Champions, Earthdawn, D&D (2e, 3e, 3.5e), GURPS, Mythus (Dangerous Journeys), Shadowrun, HARP, Wheel of Time RPG.
I am currently involved in a monthly 3.5e D&D game playing a ranger/wizard/duskblade/unseen seer/spellwarp sniper (it's a long story) follow it at the Helsmuth Campaign.
I'm also running a Dangerous Journeys/Mythus campaign. Why I decided to do that is an even longer story.

Can I use a salad fork to get into the Prime Material Plane? Our DM made us actually get to the Plane we wanted to attune the tuning fork to before we could use it, or find someone who had one already tuned. |

How does a mount interact with its rider in regards to Reflex saves? The riding skill allows you to use the mount as cover on a successful DC 15 riding check.(p80 PHB) |

Is there a spell managing program/app for D&D 3.5e? @Novian They have an active yahoo group at games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Hero_Forge perhaps they can help with the errors you are getting. I've only ever used it with Excel. |

How do you make a vampire cleric stay dead? That's an interesting idea. Currently the party has chosen the "ignore them and hope they go away strategy". |

Casting Feather Fall on an ballista bolt Sorry, I'm no physicist and won't try and answer a question pretending I am. However, my basic understanding is that projectiles are fired in an arc, reach a maximum height where gravity wins the battle between going up and forward, to down and forward and then accelerating the object until it arrives, except in this case we've reduced that significantly so it won't deliver as much damage as it won't be travelling anywhere near as fast. So it might go further but would be a lot less effective in delivering damage. I think you'd be better off going higher up and skip the spell. |
