I have been playing roleplaying games since 1986, initially with the BXCMI Dungeons and Dragons, then moving to Rolemaster in it's many forms. I have both played and GM'ed and if pushed to decide would say I prefer to GM.

Other systems I have played/run include Spacemaster, Champions, Earthdawn, D&D (2e, 3e, 3.5e), GURPS, Mythus (Dangerous Journeys), Shadowrun, HARP, Wheel of Time RPG.

I am currently involved in a monthly 3.5e D&D game playing a ranger/wizard/duskblade/unseen seer/spellwarp sniper (it's a long story) follow it at the Helsmuth Campaign.

I'm also running a Dangerous Journeys/Mythus campaign. Why I decided to do that is an even longer story.

comment Does polymorph or wildshape give you extra attacks?
Alter Self says "Physical qualities include ...natural weapons (such as claws, bite, and so on)," therefore you would get all the natural weapons of your new form in either polymorph or alter self. I agree with Azeari above.

PHBII p96 says "If the new form’s size is different from the target’s normal size, its new space must share as much of the original form’s space as possible, squeezing into the available space if necessary." I'd say both A & B do that. Is there anywhere in the rules that say it has to be around the center square?

The character in question wanted to avoid additional Attacks of Opportunity, and there was sufficient space to fit option B.
