comment What version of WoD is this?
Like Magic's "Portal" sets. Eventually they all realised it was a silly idea.

comment What would an “E6” for 5e look like?
Right off the bat, I'm pretty sure it would require some changes. How extensive, I can't say.

That would be quite a boring clan...

@DCShannon this does not imply they have to roll them every time.

@DCShannon and those players should be educated. They could surely learn better, if you do teach them.

comment How to protect a Cha-based caster against Feeblemind?
Well, technically, if a user can access this but not the linked page, it is a broken link. The fact that it's not broken for someone doesn't make it right ;)

"RS Conley" is a broken link.

comment Is the scope of my campaign too large?
This is overall a great post, but the "Don't save the cool things for later" manages to be even better than the rest. It's a really really great advice, which stands out because for some reason it's often neglected and forgot.

comment How do I handle a group that does not understand the 'assumption rule'?
I do not understand. The groups is acting as a GM, with the GM present, and he says nothing. It doesn't make any sense to me. Why isn't he saying something? Why are they interfering? What happens if you tell them "wtf are you doing?"?

comment Can a bard directly take the Improved Familiar feat?
-1 "since I could potentially take the feat Obtain Familiar, it could be argued that I am in a position where I could take a new familiar, and thus potentially be able to take Improved Familiar immediately" this makes no sense at all.

@KRyan it doesn't have to be intentional, but the result is that one nonetheless.

@SevenSidedDie there are so many games with 1:1 GMs:Players? Or you mean there are many games that get to the same goal with very different means?

While the letter might be asking for an off-topic comment, the actual obvious intent is quite on-topic: "is there a game who satisfies this scenario? how does it do that?".

comment Hidden Moves in Dungeon World
Doesn't this make too easy to discover the saboteaur? Every time he does something suspect, even if you would have no way of knowing it, you get to roll? I'm totally unfamiliar with this system, so maybe I'm missing something, but if I'm not the feeling is that he would be caught no-matter-what after a few moves.

comment How much does a “Potion of cure light wounds” heal?
I thought I read somewhere a different formula which wasn't so stupid and actually allowed to increase the caster level in a cost-effective manner. I'm not sure where or when, though.

comment Hidden Moves in Dungeon World
Do you plan to give him his move regardless, or only if he happens to ask it? If it's the former, are you sure it's what you want? You would basically be suggesting him to do that, as opposite to let him freely chose. Sure he can say no, but that's not the same thing (if he thinks he's "supposed" to do that, he might be very pressured into pursuing this course of action).
