comment Systems similar to D&D 3.5
@medivh It's a pretty old question, since then I've moved on to other systems. And what I didn't like about 3.5? Number crunching, complete lack of grittiness, bazzilion spells to know and remember, almost complete lack of focus on things other than battle.

revised How much the players can narrate in Fate? How much can be prepared beforehand by the Gm taking that into account?
Tweaked apostrophes, letter casing and some minor grammar.

-1 As it is now this answer has no worth for me. I still don't know why it is absolutely good in the context of the rules, and how it affects the gameplay in the context of your experience.

I think this answer very well explains what the aspects are but does not answer the question.

comment How can I use a frame story and keep a sense of danger and mystery?
In one book that I read I skipped to read the last page to see if one of the main characters lives. He seemed to, so imagine my surprise when he actually died and at the very end it was his wife seeing his image/ghost taking her to the other world.

comment Shame him into not shooting: multiple stress tracks in a single conflict
I wanted to ask a little bit similar question some time ago: "Can you, during a physical conflict, defeat someone in social/psychical combat so that they stop beating the crap out of you?" Maybe I should ask it?

@Mikalichov What I meant here is a different mindset - in DnD you have a fixed list of actions you can do. Attack, cast a spell, run away, etc. In Dresden Files you can do whatever the heck you wish for - even try to tear out beast's horns. You can attempt to do that at the very least, it doesn't mean you'll automatically succeed.
