Regarding #2 - not necessarily need to play such system, as it wouldn't be difficult to make it work in, for example, DnD 3.5 or any other system where a short sword is nothing more than a short sword... yet! I especially like point #3, as it is again something I didn't think of and a very nice touch.

true, though that's because I didn't know how to better phrase what I had in mind with few words. I changed it to Quick to Record as I think this is closer. My bad, sorry!

I am pretty sure it fits more as "How to describe" rather than "How to introduce descriptions" but nevertheless it is a great piece of advice and something I wouldn't have thought, at least not to such extent!

I actually thought about writing the description on the card, which would be more in harmony with us. Also I don't think a wiki would work with us, most likely I'd be the only one visiting and updating it.

Great advice! Especially the part about, let me put it my way, making the session modular, so modules can be easily removed or added as the time allows

It is fascinating how many plot ideas can come up from a single paragraph. Thanks! I will forfeit from marking this answer for a couple of days as not to scare other people from answering.

I don't know yet the plot. I... Suppose, it could be a bit Sherlock'ish, since the player who is the main reason of playing is a big fan on Sherlock Holmes. So, late Victorian England or so I'd say. As for the plot it is still a big enigma, but if it were the setting said above, it could be going around some kind of investigation.

comment What are some dangerous non-fantasy creatures?
I heard it is very unlikely for wolves to attack humans, even when they happily trespass their territories - they should attack only when in famine, sick (rabies?) or defending their cubs. Not to mention the fact, that they run away easily when seriously hurt and don't like fire. These are what I heard, though, some from The Riddle of Steel's rulebook called "Of Beast and Men", some from other sources.
