I’m a thirtysomething dad and IT professional living in the Austin, TX area. I started gaming way back in the day, 1982, with the TSR space opera game Star Frontiers. Since then I've been an avid roleplayer. I went to 5 Gen Cons, was a regional Triad for the RPGA's Living Greyhawk campaign, helped start a gaming club (the FORGE) in Memphis, TN, et cetera.
I GM and play a variety of RPGs; currently Pathfinder is in heavy rotation as well as various non-D&D-based games.

Is It Okay To Use “Commune” To Ask About Alignment? +1 - remember knowing an alignment isn't really all that helpful practically. Consider asking "will she betray us" or similar - not only more in character, but more effective. |

How to plan to avoid combat deaths for NPCs that aren't obvious railroads? Eh, avoiding a list question is 70% on the answerers to answer with techniques instead of being lazy and answering with point implementations of techniques. Maybe I'll edit and reopen sometime when I'm bored. |

Not sure why, this only requires a little editing to be a very good question - we've all wanted our bad guys to "get away" and a question on techniques to that end it valid, it just needs to be stated in clear language. |
