I currently progressing towards a math degree while living in the North Bay. My first experience gaming was a game of AD&D in middle school. I'm currently in an Exalted game and likely to join a D&D 3.5 game. I've also played Star Wars d6, D&D 3.0, Star Wars Saga Edition, Classic Traveller, Mongoose Traveller, and numerous more minor d20 system games.

What is the AC of a projected image? Wouldn't it just be the caster's ac? It doesn't say explicitly, but it is a duplicate that mirrors the actions of it's creator. I looked up the spell here: pathfinder-srd.nl/wiki/Project_Image_(Spell) |

Exalted — Sorcery and Occult Excellencies I didn't notice what mirv120 had, so the answer itself is fine; to me it just appears as a less known source book. Up to you if there is a better way to say it. |

Exalted — Sorcery and Occult Excellencies @mirv120 You guys do know it's been erratad, right? So it's no longer horribly balanced. I'm pretty sure it also has nothing of this sort in it. |

Cooperative character building? Couldn't you just make them all at the same time while discussing options? |

What is Exalted Paranoia Combat? @Jadasc What's currently keeping me from accepting your answer is that you haven't unpacked it for people new to exalted; instead, people need to go to your links and read through them. If you could put the information in the answer itself and use the links merely as references, I'd go for this in a heartbeat. |

Alternate Locust Crusades I think it should also be mentioned that many of the fans didn't have a particularly good view of the locust crusade as detailed in said book, so don't feel to obligated to uphold it's views on the matter. |

What is Exalted Paranoia Combat? @Cthos it's not so good against charms like 1 weapon two blows |

What is Exalted Paranoia Combat? Good start, but wouldn't the overdrive mechanic introduced in the Dawn Solution make that not that case? I read that it sometimes actually made it worse. |

What are some dangerous non-fantasy creatures? It seems like the obvious answer would be other travelers. |

How many arrows an archer can carry/bring with him @Matteo By high level items like bags of holding are likely to be easily available. Other options for carrying arrows are using followers, hirelings, payed commoners, or similar. Note also that I didn't say there weren't cases where tracking arrows was a good idea. Examples for when I'd consider it worthwhile would be anytime you are trying to make your players resource strapped to increase suspense, for instance by killing or removing the source of extra arrows. |

How many arrows an archer can carry/bring with him In my experience most D&D characters look ridiculous already, so that shouldn't add that much. Also, by the time they are carrying that many, they are probably using something else, like bags of holding or a mount, to transport them all. |

How do I create a sense of mystery about magic? How mysterious is mysterious? Do you want it mysterious for the players? The characters? The setting? Is it's mysteriousness a changeable trait? I think a lot of your work will be done once you define what mysterious, in this context, means for you. |

Exalted - Sidereal Dice Cap @JimKiley Yes and no. There first excellency is crap with this, since it's identical to the spirit first excellency; however, since their second can add essence success, it's twice as good as the spirit one. In fact, the second excellency compares reasonably well to solar excellencies once you remember that it can add success regardless of how large the base pool is. Further, their fateful excellency is amazing for larger pools, like those used attacking. |

Is there a Favored Soul Handbook? Also, if this is going to help other people, then useful information is also provided here, like the link to dead level II: giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11950806 |

Is there a Favored Soul Handbook? Assuming no better answers, or comments that better answers are coming, I'll accept this answer in about 36 hours (don't let me forget). In the meantime, the one thing that could be done to improve this is making sure that all the prestige classes can be qualified for as a favored soul. Thanks for the help |

Is there a Favored Soul Handbook? yes, I am talking about an optimization guide, not the book complete divine, and I wouldn't mind edits to make that clearer. |

Exalted — bonus dice and flurries The answer above now reflects our discussion. If I still haven't covered some possibilities, I'd be happy to, just mention them. |

Exalted — bonus dice and flurries Okay, I'll admit I was being briefer than I could have. How about this formulation of the first point: If you can stunt each attack in the flurry then you should be able to stunt each defense against each attack in the flurry. If you can do that you can pay the 3 motes to perfect each attack individually and that means nobody will ever die. It gets worse when you start including charms like Lightspeed Body Dynamics, near perfects, and have a full 2/7 defense. |
