Do you factor in advantage dice when deciding who goes on the owe list? Thanks for the suggestion to contact Vincent--I ended up getting in contact with him, and it helped lead to the answer I put below. |

Anyone have write-ups (or alternatives) for “missing” skills in D&D 4E? WotC themselves noted that one of their upcoming books will include optional systems to add into games, including adding profession and craft skills. Of course, it's not that useful to have it 'coming' for a year of play or so, but they see the utility of adding them back in as an option as well. |

Where can I find a place to play? @Numenetics: This season is a bad example, if you're only going off of Dark Sun--they didn't think about newer players, and focused on giving a challenge...which stomped even some skilled players. If you've only played this season, I strongly suggest trying next season, when they bring out DnD Essentials. |

Where can I find a place to play? @Numenetics: If you've got a game that's open, it's an excellent way to allow new players to see things in action--and perhaps pop in without having to actively try to break into the hobby. That's the advantage with any public play, whether in a store, or at the library--you help evangelize the hobby, to some degree. It's part of what keeps me running DnD Encounters at my store--to keep an outlet open for new players to pop in. |
