Techniques for allowing character defeat without character death The problem isn't with certainty in the outcome, at least with my group. I tend towards White Wolf games and so there is a lot more chance for a really deadly surprise. I kill players fairly often, but unfortunately death isn't really that big of a downside. Sure, everyone would rather not die, but in real life, death is a huge downside, in an RPG? Make another character. |
