How can I do conversions from OD&D to nWoD? @Braiba: actually the oath that must be sworn near the end of the adventure works better for CtL than OD&D. Aside from that, it sounded like a fun adventure to scare the characters with. It works out fairly well. |

How can I do conversions from OD&D to nWoD? @Jadasc, I looked at various contracts and really extremely few of them can do things as generic as these spells. Of course none of the characters are Mages, and adding one at this point would completely change the flavor of the game. My thought is that the characters may be able to just use pledges (with inanimate objects) to achieve similar results. |

Recommendations on how to coach an inexperienced roleplayer in playing Changeling: The Lost I think what we're gonna do is "palette-shift" her character from Spring to Summer (or maybe Autumn.) She can keep all of her rule-specific stuff (skills etc) but her personality will be more inline with who she is in real life. Thanks for the in depth answer! |

Recommendations on how to coach an inexperienced roleplayer in playing Changeling: The Lost For what it's worth she is going to join the Spring court soonish and she is a dancer (fairest.) The funny thing is that in real life she's an engineer who has a lot of trouble empathizing with characters in movies, so even though she's a girl and enjoys being attractive in real life, she would never be a Spring court in real life and would more likely be autumn (cold, calculating, etc.) |

What are some example pledges to join a court in Changeling: The Lost? Ok, so like, you just... "I pledge to join the Winter Court" or something like that, after you've joined the Freehold I guess. |

See, what confuses me is that on page 45 of CtL it says: "Joining a Court involves a pledge on the part of the changeling, and the changeling's Wyrd supports the pledge." I mean, I guess joining the freehold could also be joining the court, but... it just doesn't seem that way? |

Does it work to run a Changeling: the Lost game with players who don't know the game from the book? Yeah, I was thinking that; I was also thinking it would be kinda cool to make it so that joining the court subtly changed that character's emotions to actually start feeling such emotions. |
