I've been playing tabletop RPGs since the early '80s. The progression of games in heavy rotation has been (roughly): D&D/AD&D, Gamma World, Top Secret, RuneQuest, Aftermath!, Shadowrun, Twilight: 2000, Call of Cthluhu, d20 Modern, Basic Roleplaying, Eclipse Phase, Fate Core, with many fruitful diversions along the way.
