Is automatic success guaranteed when Aiding Another with a high skill? @KRyan But won't that obviate the point of skill checks altogether once the group reaches a certain level? If the group faces an arcane lock, the wizard automatically disables it. If the group needs to identify a poison, the shaman automatically does so. If the groups needs to move a heavy boulder, the fighter automatically does so. It seems to me that if there's no chance of failure, the skill-part of the game ceases to be a challenge? |

Is automatic success guaranteed when Aiding Another with a high skill? So a player trained in a skill should never have to roll for it? |

Is automatic success guaranteed when Aiding Another with a high skill? I would never have anyone roll to see if they could jump over the moon. If it's impossible, it's impossible. And the other way around, if it's so easy that there is no chance of failure, I don't make the players roll for it. So I feel comfortable having auto success and auto failure on skill checks. |

What happens to aquatic creatures when they're pulled onto land? @wax eagle That was actually the first thing I did, but unfortunately they did not save :P It would've made it a lot simpler though. |

What happens to aquatic creatures when they're pulled onto land? That would probably be the proper solution. It just seems a bit unbalanced if the players can completely disable a category of monsters with one power. |
