@gamerjosh They could, but I'm understanding the question being mainly about the status of paladin. I'll clarify.

@acecalhoon true, but it is normally considered an expert on the english language.

This answer could be improved if you cited your definition. Such as oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/role-playing-game

@Ferox what other restrictions can you think of? Do you care about if the game is free or not? If it has a large online community? Artwork? Do you care if it uses special dice unique to the game , or normal d6s?

@Ferox you should add those restrictions into your question, such as demanding a good deep pre-written backstory, and also expand on what you mean by not being a tabletop, but also being ok with miniatures on a grid.

A wizard can fly, until it takes enough damage. It can not fly and turn invisible at the same time. If a wizard gets 3 enemies in every spell it will out do the wizard, but that doesn't seem like a reasonable assumption based on my experience.

Hardness seems like an important factor in the 3.x rules. I would suggest giving advice on how to port that over.

comment Are there other RPGs with the phenomenon where the class that is stereotypically the best at something isn't the best at all?
@sevensideddie I don't know why you think your comment is helpful or constructive. Because it is neither. The use of the word 'we' doubly so.

@mxyzplk There can be a "best example" by providing an example that illustrates the situation better than other examples that doesn't illustrate the situation as well. Once again, thank you for telling others what problems are real and which are not, and trying to invalidate people's problems.

@JonathanHobbs I want to know the best example of it. "If yes, which one is the best example, and why?" ?
