How can I make sure I'm awarding the right amount of honor at the end of a session? Yes, this is a lot more like what I'm looking for. Thanks! |

How can I make sure I'm awarding the right amount of honor at the end of a session? I think you're answering a different question than what I'm attempting to ask. My concern is NOT with player behavior and how they score. I have no intention of making sure a player "gets enough" even if they're playing poorly. My concern is making sure that I hand out the appropriate amount over the course of a level, as per the book's chart. The book's chart is the guideline per level. My question deals with how I can best give this amount out over the course of the several sessions which make up that level. |

How can I make sure I'm awarding the right amount of honor at the end of a session? It's their problem if I'm awarding honor correctly. If I'm failing to give out the correct amount per level, then it's my problem. Anyway, I've reworked the question a bit and I'm going to pull part of my question into an answer, since it indicates an approach I've tried but am not terribly happy with. |

How can I make sure I'm awarding the right amount of honor at the end of a session? Saying "don't worry about it" really isn't an answer. I have played the game and I have run into this problem. It's particularly important that if someone is trying to play a Knight or Paladin, that you award them enough honor, because if you aren't meeting the recommended guidelines then they'll end up getting penalties for their class. The window for Great Honor is pretty tight. This answer seems to be such a dismissal of the question that I'm wondering if my question's intent was unclear and if it needs to be reworded. |
