comment Would it be OK to allow Sublime Chord to smooth and join both castings?
@Molot And the combination of the two is still a nerf, since 2 spells known of the higher level are generally more valuable than 1 spell per day of a lower level, which could be regained with a relatively cheap pearl of power.

comment What's a good item or spell for creating a magical surveillance state?
One more problem is that it allows a saving throw to resist.

comment How do I use a Roc as an animal companion?
By the way, do you have another tricks? Druid's animal companion gets 1 bonus trick, in addition to whatever tricks you teach it normally (6 tricks for a companion with the Int score of 2).

comment A question about Celerity spells
@thedarkwanderer not entirely duplicate, but yes, these questions are related. I'm a fan of immediate actions.

comment Can bardic music Inspire Courage be combined with attack actions?
@KRyan it is even mentioned in the quote in the question itself, but I agree, it's best to reiterate just in case.

comment Can bardic music Inspire Courage be combined with attack actions?
@Molot exactly. Courage as written doesn't need concentration.

comment Armored Wisdom to AC
@KRyan missed that part, having read only the ability itself. My bad, but good riddance to the dragon material. Saint is your only option now.

comment Armored Wisdom to AC
@KRyan barring other restrictions, Saint is by far your best call.

comment Armored Wisdom to AC
@Ernir I assume he either didn't or forgot to explain how those 4 entries that I listed do not suit his needs.

comment How do I narrate a Called Shot to the head?
You either change the mechanics or follow them. Hit the head, but didn't kill with a poor damage roll? That was a grazing hit, which just staggered the target. Where's the problem?

comment Durations of chained conditions
@Jason_c_o usually yes. But touch of fatigue and ray of exhaustion exist, and there may be other fatigue effects with duration measured in rounds.

comment Can you use readied actions to avoid being hit
@KRyan both from 3.5 and PF versions of readied action. See the quote in my answer, for example.

Please clarify your example #2. Who is trying to do what?

comment Changeling to early Warshaper options
@dphil CoD = Cleric or Druid, but since full casters are off limits, that's not an option.

comment Changeling to early Warshaper options
What are your character restrictions? Does "low magic" mean "no full casters"? Please specify.

comment Duskblade with a 1-level Crusader dip?
@KRyan forgot that part. Dimension hop will do, though wasting quick casting on that seems unnecessary. As for the items being per-day limited, they are cheap enough for one to be able to afford multiple copies of each, switching them between encounters.

comment Duskblade with a 1-level Crusader dip?
Mobility could be covered by quick casting of Dimension Door and/or swift movement magic items (anklet of translocation, something-of-horizon-walker, etc - see MIC).

comment Duskblade with a 1-level Crusader dip?
Is your first reason the main one? The main advantage of cleric is not rapid healing but adverse effect removal, and crusader dip won't cut it, even with IL 7 and access to 4th level maneuvers and stances. At best you will be able to remove any negative effect from yourself with Iron Heart Surge, and that's either being a warblade instead of crusader or spending two Martial Study feats. That said, just about anything with a spellcasting progression is better than pure Duskblade after 13th level, so your idea is an improvement over Duskblade20, just not a lot.

comment Where can I find the rules for an eviscerator in Deathwatch?
@SevenSidedDie no they are not (multiple melee attack rules, for example). Anyway, human-sized eviscerator wielded by a Sister of Battle seems smallish for the Space Marine use.

comment How does looting treasures worth legend points work?
@Mouhgouda that's not my guess, that's my call. Could be yours as well. You're the storyteller; when something is not covered in the rules (and this certainly is not, the Assigning Legend Awards section is not very detailed), your decision is final.
