@Rubberduck take a look again and if you still have the problem, tell us what it is.

@SPike86 thanks, overlooked that.

comment Is a character flat-footed if they end their turn mid-jump?
@Brian_Drozd it has everything to do with the wording you supplied. PHB does not give any option when you turn starts mid-jump other than complete your jump normally, and that's weird.

@Brian_Drozd this is something the updates in PHB II should have covered, right? Even then, before immediate actions, this was a no-no for having cast levitate/fly/dimension door/feather fall - or a quickened version thereof - at the beginning of the next turn, which is a questionable policy.

@KRyan exactly. It gets houseruled in an instant by a reasonable DM, still it exists and has to be dealt with.

@KRyan the PHB quote is in the answer. I see the silliness here, but what do I miss? "Next action must be a move action to complete the jump" doesn't look ambiguous.

Note that while the character is not flat-footed, it cannot perform anything other than a move to complete the jump - not even immediate ones. Alas, casting a spell to achieve flight or to teleport to a steady ground is against the rules here.

except #3 looks a lot like WFRP to me.

@KRyan I remember seeing a question about that a couple of days ago, but can't find it. If you do happen to have a link, it would be useful.

comment What's the fastest a Space Marine can run in Deathwatch?
The standard logic in DW is: two doubles add up to a triple. See str multiplication for thunder hammer, for example. Wings of Raven are from First Founding, iirc.

comment How do I use a Roc as an animal companion?
@Steven it is usually written right next to the fly speed in the creature stat block.

How often do the adventurers find the command-word activated magical items with a user manual nearby?

comment Do Wondrous Items require the Use Magic Device skill?
The items have a clearly-defined use case: CW-activated, command word not known by the user. This use case doesn't seem to be a uniquely rare occurence, so yes, it's worth mentioning.

One is still required to know the command word. UMD check is applicable if one doesn't.

comment What's the highest Restriction Rating of equipment that a player can buy at character creation?
In English it's called Restricted Gear .

comment Can an unseen servant hustle?
Technically, PHB doesn't says anything on creature being obliged to have defined ability scores in the glossary, nor does any other core book, nor does the Rules Compendium (which is somehow outside of the sources hierarchy). Otherwise, great analysis.

Show 2500 traits per page and ctrl+f "abjuration" yields nothing, so probably no, but then again, you probably already know that.

comment Do animals have souls?
@Erik I'd argue that survival instinct is enough here, but that is really DM's call.

comment Can the heal spell (and other positive energy effects) work on constructs?
@RobertP these are the sections of specific constructs, not construct creature type description, and not every construct has one. For example, animated object doesn't.

comment How many scrolls can I have deciphered at once?
@DavidWilkins correct, but the minimum caster level for a fireball (3rd level spell) is 5. You may want to visit the links, they say exactly that.
