I'm relatively new to role playing, and am a Savage Worlds nut. I currently GM two games, one using the War of the Dead published campaign, the other set in the Deadlands Reloaded world.

Who should be addressed in an RPG rule text? I've seen both done really successfully. It depends amongst many things on individual writing style, the genre in question etc, etc. I don't even think there is a 'correct' way of doing this. |

How to develop arcs for player characters Now that's an excellent idea about the name changing :o) |

How to develop arcs for player characters Yeah, its important with the plot points as the savage tales are linked to specific locations, and work much, much better if you've had a chance to read and prepare them before throwing them at your players. |

How to develop arcs for player characters In this case I think the system tag is relevant, as there are things specific to Savage Worlds Plot point structures that can assist with what is being asked. |

What to do with a player who undermines the DM? The question is, if you do nothing and things carry on as they are now, is this issue going to cause the group to split up anyway? |

How to deal with a player who takes things personally? Yeah, I had a similar issue with a player who was too used to GMing, and sulked when NPCs didn't react in the way they would have if he'd been running the game. Again, I ended up having to kick him out for the good of the group :o( |

How to make a confinement situation interesting without railroading players? Not worth an answer in its own right, but my advice would be to give them a really good reason to want to stay. |

How to handle initiative while keeping the spotlight on a duel within a larger combat? Absolutely, it sounds like you're over-thinking a solution, when you can just use the rules as written :o) |

How to handle initiative while keeping the spotlight on a duel within a larger combat? Based on your recent update, can't you just run each character's combat sequentially rather than doing them all in parallel? |

Character Build - “Bad Luck” Theme I also find the formatting makes the post seem a bit too much like a wall of text. Is there anything you can do to break it up a little so its clearer to follow? |

Messing with the Wild Die? Not sure I agree here. Apart from the d4 WD, the changes Kyle is making are all described in the core rulebook, and it is expected that they be used exactly in this way. |

What/how many different cities are officially supported by Dresden Files? +1 for creating your own setting, which I also very strongly recommend |

Messing with the Wild Die? Absolutely. It's 'default' is pulp, but its very easy to tweak according to what feel you are going for. |

Tools for tracking NPC/PC relationships and attitudes I love it. Simple to use but does everything I need it to be able to do. |

How do I fix this plot hole? +1 Fantastic first option, which I would go for every time. The world goes on around the characters, who cannot be everywhere and do everything |

Limits of the Entangle Power? Indeed. If you REALLY want to get fiddly then consider the implications of losing all your Agility and Strength linked skills if you are hit by Entangle with a Raise. This means you lose Fighting, so you Parry drops back to 2. Again, its not explicitly stated in the rule book, but implied in the wording of the power |

Limits of the Entangle Power? The links given are effectively RAW, as they are from the official answers part of the Savage Worlds forum |
