I'm relatively new to role playing, and am a Savage Worlds nut. I currently GM two games, one using the War of the Dead published campaign, the other set in the Deadlands Reloaded world.

How Did the Civil War End? The only reference I can find on the official forums is here: peginc.com/forum/…. Not sure it warrants a full answer though, and as I don't have any of the Classic books I can't find any more information. |

How would you mechanically model the effect of spraying a CO₂ fire extinguisher in someones face? You might want to summarise those links in an full answer. Even without the game system equivalent mechanics, the information is still useful |

How to help players who roll really badly? +1 indeed. If players can't fail then there is no point in rolling the dice, as the outcome is already decided. Only ever make players roll the dice when failiure is relevant and creates an interesting story. |

What should be considered when deciding if and how to use props? As a rule, you should probably wait a few days before accepting an answer. This gives people enough time to think about your question, and makes sure you have some choice rather than choosing one of the first one or two that get posted. |

How can I encourage players to Spout lore Not worth a full answer, but the obvious thing would be to engineer situations where 'spout law' is a natural thing to do to solve problems/advance the story |
