I live in Lymington, Hampshire, and work in the Law Courts, which may have made my English slightly pedantic. I realize that Americans and other ex-colonials labour under a disadvantage, and regard it as an holy duty to assist them in speaking (and thinking) clearly.

comment Contacts, and how to use them?
Like a lot of NPCs, Contacts start as a short list of skills and (may, with work from player and GM) develop into somebody the players care about, for good or ill. PCs too, come to think of it.

comment How do you get a DM to stop targeting you?
"Don't ever start believing it's your fault" is not good advice at the best of times, particularly when we've only heard one side of the story. And the rest of your answer seems to recognize that: if the rest of the group wants you out because of the way you treated them when you were GM, it probably is your fault, at least partly.

Still a flaw somewhere; 600g vs 630g? (would fix, but my rulebooks are in storage).

comment Are the percentile-based Warhammer 40k RPGs suitable for high-level play?
This doesn't seem to me at all system-specific; the 'usually hit, usually parry' problem is widespread, e.g. rpg.stackexchange.com/q/19425/2451

comment How can I make realistic looking potions as handouts
+1 for empty perfume bottles. In theory you could obtain some discards from the young ladies in your life (whether sisters or nieces) but that would not be an easy conversation.

comment Is is unrealistic not to bring a decker / hacker to shadow runs?
An NPC decker can get the result "OK, I've bought you fifteen minutes but then the guards will start noticing" rather than "Nope, too tough, try next week" or "Good rolls; the security system is out of action till Tuesday".
