Or worse, the rumours are completely false, but the goat gets a taste for pixie and decides it is the best thing ever! Soon, regardless of the rumour's veracity, the goat sneaks off at night to go pixie hunting... I'm sure this goes down well with the local druid.

@nitsua60 Yes the Bladesinger is from the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide. The spells are listed as Wizard/Sorcerer/Warlock(?), so they likely open up a lot of options even for non-Bladesingers.

Another recent option (Nov 2015) is the Bladesinger (Wizard archetype). This introduces two cantrips that effectively require a melee attack as part of their cost: Green-Flame Blade & Booming Blade.
