@Zibbobz, perhaps I should rephrase that. A lot of RPGs pose no problems for creating a party that can't work as a team -- they end up with plenty of problems when playing such a party.

@mxyzplk, what makes you think his game is in the modern world? All he said is that the in-game god is a fictionalized representation of the real-world God -- that's already enough leeway to let you do pretty much whatever you need in making a god character.
