A Canadian geek, finishing off a chemistry degree. I typically hang around TeX.SX as I like the community and learn things by reading the questions. I'm also active on RPG.SX and History.SX.

Whatever you do, do not seal the container after doing this.

comment How can you use isometric maps (or other tricks for addressing 3 dimensions) for miniatures?
I have a giant box of lego my Dad often digs into when DMing. He often makes maps in Dunjinni, tapes them to the lego, then lays the whole thing down onto the battlemap.

comment Shadowrun 3rd edition ruthenium polymer
Huh, my research group is working on some ruthenium compounds and some metal polymers, but sadly not a real-world ruthenium polymer I can point out.

@KRyan Good point. I just recall a lot of the later ones having monsters in them that pound-per-pound could eat anything of the same CR in the first ones. I think IV was the one I saw a lot of examples from? But yes, I recall how terrible the horrors were.

The various Monster Manuals were know to have CR deflation in them over time, in that 4 default characters could easily beat a CR1 MM1 monster, and get eaten alive by a CR1 MMV monster. (Adding something more specific to your CR comment)
