I play mostly DnD and BESM; I run a gaming blog at http://gaming.radiantvanguard.no-ip.org/ that has our Pathfinder game archived, and I have a site for the BESM game as well at http://hollingsworth.no-ip.org/

comment Does 5e address the murderhobos problem?
I'm accepting this because it mentions the milestone experience rule and offers examples from a module that reward not-killing, which is basically what I was asking for.

comment How can a dragon sorcerer PC take on humanoid form from level 1 without house rules?
There's a short story by Tamora Pierce in her collection Tortall and Other Lands that deals with exactly this sort of problem: it's from the perspective of a dragon who is annoyed at having to stay in camp while her human friends have adventures because she scares people. If I remember right it's called "The Dragons Tale". If you're considering going without the shapeshifting you might look into stories like that for ideas

comment What would be the minimum human population to sustain a single vampire indefinitely?
@Jadasc Not the OP, but I've done calculations like this for other vampire games. It gives a sense of how many vampires you should be creating for a given setting during worldbuilding. Since some people have problems with the estbalished setting ratios, it gives an alternate ratio. See also rpg.stackexchange.com/a/2549/2556
