comment What is the best way to teleport back and forth between your current location and your base?
I think you could pass the bag back through and have the remaining character climb in and be brought through too: 'A character can reach through to grab things near the other ring…'. You would have to leave the other ring behind, although you do want that so you can get back again.

True. Any other feat or class ability you can think of?

You could fluff the Leadership feat as receiving a knighthood, perhaps? Or some other class ability or feat?

Amusing that quite a number of them are gaming maps!

comment Does a buckler's defense apply to the PC while shooting arrows through a bow?
No, the rules state: 'you lose the buckler's Armor Class bonus until your next turn'

comment Touch Spells; Cast, move & attack in one round?
Thanks. Was looking under the Magic rules, but this is under Combat > Cast a Spell > Touch Spells in Combat, in case anyone else is equally lost!

What about the 'or any time later' bit? In my next round, I make a touch attack and deliver the spell. What kind of action is that?

comment How has sneaking changed from 3.5 to Pathfinder?
Agreed. I find it strange how the rules often use keywords in a very casual way without making it clear that's what they are or what they refer to. "Not aware of you", on the face of it, sounds pretty powerful: you would think it would prevent them from directing attacks at you, for starters, not to mention any number of other undefined effects. But, by the rules alone, it just means you get a surprise round...

Ah, found it: Surprise - When a combat starts, if you are not aware of your opponents and they are aware of you, you're surprised. So this has an effect on Sneak Attack in that it is required to gain a surprise round.

What does the phrase "not aware of you" mean in the rules for stealth?

comment What are the best ways to utilize Wisdom and Charisma?
The original system was written in 1989. Sounds to me like they're using the old background but updating to a new system based around D20?
