comment Are spider webs flammable?
Full disclosure: @TREE is my GM and this question came as a result of our recent session. A Fire Elemental got "attacked" by a Web from a Giant Spider and had difficulty getting out.... But even if "web as attack" and "web as trap" are interpreted as different things, fire is treated as especially effective with the spell, clearing a whole 5 foot square regardless of damage. Part of the question is "Are natural webs tougher?"

comment RPG With Character Moral Growth and Corruption?
Star Wars is fantasy. It just uses Wookiees and lightsabers instead of werewolves and magic swords. Jedi characters constantly have to toe the line between following the Light and Dark Sides of the Force. Just about any of the Star Wars RPGs out there have mechanics relating to this. If I had a more-specific suggestion I would post it as an answer, but I don't have all that much direct experience with those RPGs.

This sounds like a Star Wars RPG might fit the bill, especially a Jedi-focused story.

comment In Pathfinder, how sensitive is a Shrieker to movement?
Not sure why my earlier comments got deleted, but your answer has been fleshed out since I last looked... For this case, I have decided to take an approach somewhere between the 3rd-party Bestiary entry and the Core Book "Environmental" version (a bit retroactively, but in a way that's consistent with how the characters have already acted).

Right.. but that phrase is either fluff (because it's not saying anything that isn't already true about wild-shape-absorbed armor), or it's significant (because it's explicitly stated when otherwise unnecessary). That's where the potential disagreement lies which inspired this question.

One could theoretically also interpret the additional phrase "the armor cannot be seen" as implying that the armor has a physical-yet-invisible presence which would mean that its other properties apply. This is really the root of the question.

Not sure why the downvote on my answer, though :( This is a legitimate thing I would consider suggesting to my player in this situation.

If the character is amongst Elves (or people who are familiar with Elves), he's going to have a hard time fully faking it. Detect Magic will easily call out his hat, and all they have to do is cast a simple Sleep spell to show he's not an Elf. It depends on how hard he's really trying to fool people.
