comment Looking for a Space marine RPG similar to Starship Troopers (the Novel)
I fully agree with the recommendation. The moment I picked up the new "Sci Fi Companion" for Savage Worlds, a Space Marine/Starship Troopers type game was the first thing on my mind.

comment Does Punishing Eye remove the Line of Sight limitation from Stinking Cloud?
Good answer. Breaking it up into two parts is key to really understanding what is going on.

comment Does forced movement provoke OA with polearm gamble?
PHB pg 285 clearly states that forced movement generates no OAs or Opportunity actions, regardless of the direction of movement

comment What is an effective 3-character 'Core' party?
Good analysis. I usually found that lacking the defender wasn't that bad, but it really depends on how the party plays.

comment Why don't weapons grant some sort of defense?
I also like how they do this with styles and feats. Just having the weapon isn't enough, you should also know how to use it in a defensive manner.

comment A mage has 'Beast Friend'ed a swarm that then splits. What happens?
The "spell" only targets a single creature. They are now two separate creatures with two separate initiatives, set of actions, wounds, etc. There is no reason why your single target spell should now be affecting multiple targets.

comment Could non-lethal damage draw blood?
Agreed. HP doesn't always mean physical endurance, it is also used for mental attacks. Non-lethal damage only means they don't die, though they could have sustained plenty of other non-life threatening injuries.
