Why don't weapons grant some sort of defense? I also like how they do this with styles and feats. Just having the weapon isn't enough, you should also know how to use it in a defensive manner. |

A mage has 'Beast Friend'ed a swarm that then splits. What happens? The "spell" only targets a single creature. They are now two separate creatures with two separate initiatives, set of actions, wounds, etc. There is no reason why your single target spell should now be affecting multiple targets. |

Could non-lethal damage draw blood? Agreed. HP doesn't always mean physical endurance, it is also used for mental attacks. Non-lethal damage only means they don't die, though they could have sustained plenty of other non-life threatening injuries. |

How do you plan Savage Worlds combats based on PC ability? Just make sure to think of gang-up bonuses as well. A horde of extras can be deadly if each one is getting +2 or +3 gang-up bonuses. |

Can I use Cleave even if there's only one enemy? Agreed. Likely he is aiming to use one of the secondary effects. I know my fighter will always use Cleave due to the bonus he gets from Longhand Student |
