What will happen with DDI subscriptions and online content for 4e? My answer was written under the assumption that DDI would stay and its content would shift to 5e. |

How does a GM fix the rules when they goof? I really like the in game world answer. Great idea! |

How can I help my PCs remember clues that they found? Haha, indeed. Good point. |

Can you teleport 0 squares in a move action? You might simply teleport one or two squares up. |

How can I help my PCs remember clues that they found? I usually ask one of the players to make an easy insight check. If the player succeeds, I tell him 'you remember...'. And even if they fail, they notice that I asked them and start discussing and usually remember it. And if not - well, that happens too in real-life. |

Which classes are good as long-range fighters? You cannot flank with a ranged weapon (outside some sketchy feats from Dragon Magazine), and would incur an AoO. The easiest way to reliably get ranged sneak attacks is a friendly wizard casting grease. |

Which classes are good as long-range fighters? Well, you can use higher-level slots to persist buffs and be a better archer than any ranger/fighter, and at the same time still have lots of spell slots for utility and healing. D&D 3.5 suffers from the problem that higher-level melee-only chars lack options in comparison to full-casters - with zen archery clerics you can kill enemies with arrows, and still be able to contribute meaningfully at high levels (10+). |

Experience and levels in Pathfinder Thanks for the edit, Ace. Makes the answer much better! |

Why are whips so restricted? The spiked chain is very popular for any tripping build in my experience. Still, tripping as diminishing returns with increasing levels, and you still need to multiple feats to make it worthwhile. |

How do I scale an encounter to a larger party? I don't think making opponents tougher is a good idea in 4e. Combat tends to get too long and grindy anyway - its much better to add a few more minions or artillery monsters that cause damage but are fast and easy to kill. |

Sorcerous Power Feat Prerequisites Yeah, too bad. Would have stacked nicely with elemental empowerment, but the cost is just too high. |

Reasonable stats for a god (DR 25) The material is not unreachable, it's just not free. |

Reasonable stats for a god (DR 25) Well, if you don't want to accept the official material for this, I cannot really help. But anyway, D&D magic breaks down way before this, with quasi-unlimited divination and time stop and wish (as deities are wont to have). |

What are the benefits of playing an alignment other than True Neutral? Actually, he didn't. |

Reasonable stats for a god (DR 25) Well, it is the official resource on the topic. And as its content is not open, I cannot reproduce it here. |

What is the difference between a cleric and an oracle? That has not been my experience. People who like playing optimized characters will likely spend the time learning and reading up on possibilities (maybe asking on a public forum as this). And optimizing a wizard just a little (e.g. use spell suggestions from any of the many boards out there) is much easier than optimizing a fighter (having to dig through tons of splatbooks to find options). |

What is the difference between a cleric and an oracle? Indeed, but it was stated in the question that he/she thought advanced/splatbooks characters were more powerful, and he/she picked a splatbook character. So my suggestion might be appropriate, after all, since those are clearly classes that are very powerful out of the book, without much optimization needed. |

Aganazzar's Scorcher: Rules for 'path' Spells I thought maybe path was a type such as line in 3.5, with specific rules. Well, I accepted the answer. |

Aganazzar's Scorcher: Rules for 'path' Spells It's a 3.0 spell. As I don't have any of the 3.0 core books, I asked here. |

Aganazzar's Scorcher: Rules for 'path' Spells I think so to, but I asked because I would like rule text regarding this. |
