comment With Throw Anything, is there any reason to take thrown weapon proficiencies?
It all comes down to how you interpret "Improvised ranged weapon". Is it "throwing something that is not a weapon", or "throwing something that is not supposed to be thrown"? I would say the latter, but yes, the RAW is unclear on these points.

comment What are the best uses of a Factotum's Cunning Brilliance (Ex)?
Sounded like a nice ability, until the "spend 4 inspiration to use it during 1 minute" and "only once a day each"

comment How should a DM recover from major player plot derailment?
Make it part of your story. Either they have to free Raj to understand what's going on, OR Raj is actually the mastermind behind the whole plan, driven crazy by its years spent in the crystal.

comment How do I make a Barbarian NPC resistant to assassination?
Seems to me that the whole "he cannot be defeated in battle" is already good enough challenge, no?

comment What is Gnosis? How is it calculated and what does it impact?
@GMJoe Well, you need Gnosis 25 to cast spells above 80, and Gnosis 40 to cast spells above 90, so yes, it matters for most mages. Also, high Gnosis gives you good advantages that are interesting for any kind of characters

comment Can a hacker/technomancer turn a gun against his owner?
@MrJinPengyou Even though it is potentially hackable, cyberware - and especially cyberarms - tends to be wireless, and so require you to go and plug in directly. Not very subtle.

comment Technological warfare: how does Iron Man fight?
But isn't the Tech specialty related to being able to use the armor? Is Iron Man unable to use his Tech when launching missiles? Would it mean that Iron Fist wearing the armor would be better at launching missiles than Tony Stark, because he learned martial arts?

comment Sources for additional (summonable) creatures in Anima: Beyond Fantasy
Yup, a good method is to tell your GM "I want to be able to summon this, this and that", and he will make them for you. Don't do it during a game session, though... :)

comment Technological warfare: how does Iron Man fight?
Maybe I misunderstand, but you make it sound like Iron Man cannot use Tech to do direct combat, like flying and throwing a punch at an enemy, or launching missiles at a target

comment Bows in ShadowRun: How do I calculate the damage?
@Pureferret as I said, 20th Anniversary Edition. After verification, yup, nothing about a damage cap in the "basic" book

comment Bows in ShadowRun: How do I calculate the damage?
@Pureferret Yup, STR Rating = STR Min = Rating in that description, it is a bit awkward now that I think about it. As for the 1.5*rating cap, it is mentioned on p315-316 of 20th Anniversary Edition.

comment Bows in ShadowRun: How do I calculate the damage?
@Pureferret Well, p315 in the Bows table. Damage is (STR Min +2)P, and STR Min = Rating.

This sounds a lot like an actual board game. Have you considered that route?

comment Things that all characters are vulnerable to in Shadowrun?
Trying to think about it from the end, I don't think there is any one thing that can't be countered by a piece of equipment, mainly because players would then abuse it. And conversely, if there is a piece of equipment to counter it, at least one of the players will have it.
