Wait, you mean you don't send assassins to kill the PCs while they sleep? Why?

comment Effect of simultaneous Physical Stress
I hope the disclaimer doesn't offend anyone, I prefer being very clear rather than having an answer that doesn't answer the question I wanted to ask.

comment How do I kidnap my characters without bending the rules?
I would add that I actually experienced this situation.. from a player point of view. GM asked me if I was ok starting the game kidnapped, with the others trying to free me. I accepted, and fun was had.

comment Is there a plainer english explanation of bravery and poltroonery?
Just to be sure: this means that the lower the death number is, the more likely you are to die, right?

comment How do I help my players get past an obstacle I didn't intend?
This is SUCH an important point. Also applicable to any "Investigation" scenario.

comment W40K: Arbitrator not very successful
There are actually two questions: "How to manage roleplaying an Arbitrator in a typical adventuring group?", and "How to improve an Arbitrator character?". I feel the roleplay part should be moved to a different question or even removed (there may be similar questions around).

comment It is commonly said that epic spellcasting in D&D 3.5e is broken. What are some examples of broken epic spellcasters?
As for an example, not worth an answer, considering the following: an epic spell giving you an increase in Spellcraft.

Spellcasting itself is broken. Epic spellcasting is simply epicly broken.

Nice idea! What happens if you kill the head first?

comment A system ranking epic levels alongside divine ranks?
@KRyan No offense, but you are posting the same rant on any single question mentioning epic. Not sure how it contributes to the question, especially as it's not really mentioning Epic level balance.

comment Pathfinder DR and ability damage
@Lord_Gareth The point being that if for example a sword does 2 damage + 1d8 Strength to a character with 3/-, the 1d8 Strength is negated by the DR.

comment Is there any good place on the internet that hosts monster playtests?
You will have to be more descriptive about what you are looking for. Players actively playing the fight while you play the monster, or players doing all the testing for you? With their own characters, or your group's characters? If you are looking for "players who are available to play a fight against one of my monsters, with their own characters from the appropriate level", this might get more difficult.
