comment What is the difference between being inside or outside of fate?
@Grubermensch I don't see any problem here. There are plenty of questions on this SE that could be solved by reading the rulebooks. In that case, the question is pretty straightforward, and has an answer in the rulebooks, but spread a bit all over the place. It is definitely possible to summarize all those little pieces into one concise and definitive answer, especially since OP has specifically asked about mechanical information.

comment Center stance bonus clarifications
"Terms like plus your X Ring will be seen quite a lot, when they happen, they mean a static bonus." Actually in that situation they usually say "your X Ring is added to the total of the roll" or something like that, hence the confusion.

comment Point Buy system in Maid RPG?
It's quite difficult to answer that question... While there can be an answer to "Have you successfully used a point-based creation system in Maid RPG?", it is more difficult to answer "Would this houserule work?"

comment Relative strengths/weaknesses of Undead and Fair Folk
@SevenSidedDie Well, a game I'm a part of might end up with a big "world war" between those three factions (undead/fae/demons). In order to plan our next moves, we are trying to figure out if a side is immune/resistant/weak to another side's powers or not. For example, as a player, I have heard things such as "Fae are good allies if you need to fight undead", but I have also heard "Fae are especially weak against undead", with no explanation on one side or another. So I'm trying to get a more definite, backed up, and clear answer on that matter

Also it's not about just finding the entries, Exalted has a lot of weird interaction things (for example Sidereals charms, and who they can apply to and why) that requires more of a global knowledge of how the setting and its magic work.

comment Relative strengths/weaknesses of Undead and Fair Folk
@gatherer818 Well, originally it was a question such as "what are the advantages/disadvantages of undead/demons/fae against each others", which was closed for being too broad, with the advice of making it three separate questions. So...

"Confusing Stress with hit points" I would argue that Stress IS Hit Points - but most people confuse Hit Points and damage. Hit Points also are "a measure of your ability to avoid lasting consequences from conflict"; when Luke is surrounded by blaster shots landing at his feet, or bullets are hitting the pole James Bond is hiding behind, they're losing HP - not just being missed, but getting closer from "real" trouble. Anyway, just a small pet peeve, great answer, +1 to you sir.

comment How to make extremely lethal stories in Fate
@Theik I didn't mention having a mechanical difficulty. While there is no hard mechanical rule that I see as being a problem, I have learned that going against the spirit of the game, especially as explicitly described by the game itself, leads to pretty bad results.

Actually I really like this answer, for some reason it feels like Fate to me (character goals, narrative-driven metagaming...). One question though: do you have experience running this kind of game, or something similar?

@Theik sorry about that, it seems I didn't copy the right part of the quote... It is part of a page long discussion on why death isn't encouraged in Fate games, how it kind of goes against the spirit of the game, and how it should be kept for pivotal and extremely important conflicts

+1 for the not shaming the making out itself, that's something I was worried to see in the answers

comment RPG system for “town management”?
+1 for Reign :) Could you add some info on the system (ORE is not known to everyone), to how it manages the organizations themselves, and to your own experiences playing it?

Well, unfortunately I don't know if the people commenting earlier have the opportunity to join the chat right now, so if they read this at some point: for what it's worth, the "loud issue" has been corrected.

With Spell Perfection, all bonuses are doubled, so you get about +6 to your DCs for your favorite spell, and about +10 against SR (it is mentioned under Spell Perfection entry in the feats section, and again for the 15th level entry). As for reformulating it... honestly, that wouldn't be a great idea. I would end up repeating and paraphrasing it, which would be disrespectful to the original author (that's the reason why I put it as a quote rather than just putting it as my own answer)

comment What throwing weapons are treated as light weapons?
@thedarkwanderer It is RAW, but still doesn't really answer the question, as it is only applicable for melee weapons that are thrown... What is the SE policy in this kind of situation? Accept an answer that doesn't answer the question, or leave the question open even though an answer might never come?

I'm mixed about the Records expunged parts... While it's fun and all, if there is info about them somewhere, well, it's part of the answer. If not, maybe it should be specified

That's a VERY broad topic, there are a lot of discussion out there, and a lot of available builds already, not sure this is relevant to SE
