Bows in ShadowRun: How do I calculate the damage? @Pureferret as I said, 20th Anniversary Edition. After verification, yup, nothing about a damage cap in the "basic" book |

Bows in ShadowRun: How do I calculate the damage? @Pureferret Yup, STR Rating = STR Min = Rating in that description, it is a bit awkward now that I think about it. As for the 1.5*rating cap, it is mentioned on p315-316 of 20th Anniversary Edition. |

Bows in ShadowRun: How do I calculate the damage? @Pureferret Well, p315 in the Bows table. Damage is (STR Min +2)P, and STR Min = Rating. |

Good techniques for getting player-character backgrounds integrated into the game? Tags examples would be great :) |

Incentivizing Player Betrayal? This sounds a lot like an actual board game. Have you considered that route? |

Using Archer abilities with Swords "Also if you do it, you guys might meet a lot of archers with bigger swords." |

Things that all characters are vulnerable to in Shadowrun? Trying to think about it from the end, I don't think there is any one thing that can't be countered by a piece of equipment, mainly because players would then abuse it. And conversely, if there is a piece of equipment to counter it, at least one of the players will have it. |

AoO and Touch spells on Allies @MrJinPengyou Actually it specifically says that no, a Touch Attack doesn't allow for a AoO. |

Shadowrun Road Trip That is an awesome answer and it deserves lots of votes. |

Shadowrun Road Trip Well, I remember seeing info in the Sixth World Almanac, but mainly in the fluff (Jackpointers discussing how to pass borders). Are you looking for actual rules (which yes, can be surprisingly absent in some important areas ), or for fluff based answers? |

Should I pay attention to the defenses targeted when choosing my powers? Well, there is the Shoelessinsight’s Bestiary Statistics, which seems to indicate that targeting Fortitude is a bad idea, and targeting Reflexes is a good one. Not sure if we can assume they are spread te same in 4E though, do you know if there is a similar thing? |

Are there any fantasy campaign setting/modules analogous to the Silk Road? Don't almost all settings have "the huge intercultural trade city" at some point? |

In Pathfinder, what are the rules for holding a two-handed weapon in one hand while using the other hand? I think the issue here might be 'style' related. You seem to have a more 'simulationist' style, where you want the game to be as close as possible from reality. While it is not bad in itself, and some games are based on that mindset (Rolemaster, Shadowrun before 4E), this is not Pathfinder mindset. Pathfinder has a more 'gamist' mindset, where rules try to be 'balanced' and comprehensive. It is somewhat similar to boardgames: the rules tell you what you can and cannot do, and how close to reality it is is not especially relevant. Both styles are good, but difficult to combine. |

In Pathfinder, what are the rules for holding a two-handed weapon in one hand while using the other hand? @Sheph Actually as RAW, throwing a weapon is a one-handed action, and you are not penalized for whatever you are holding in your other hand. |

Looking for a Space marine RPG similar to Starship Troopers (the Novel) Ironically, I feel 'Only War' would well fit the bill. |
