How do I handle a player who plays his character far differently than the character was originally presented? Thing is, most people tend to justify anything with "I can do it, the paladin code says I have to slay/punish/burn/save/marry the guilty!" So everytime, I ask myself one question: what would Superman do? He is probably the only real Loyal Good character out there (Captain America could apply too), and it usually gives a straight answer. Would Superman behead a man because he is Evil? No. Would he throw a chair at someone to get his attention? No. Would he throw a rogue on some orcs? Well, unless the rogue asked for it, no. |

How can I murder people and lie about it? @fire.eagle And here I was going to suggest we change the title to "How can my character murder people and lie about it?", after realizing it was in the hot questions list.. |

How can I murder people and lie about it? Most disturbing title I've seen for a question here. |

How do I design a Christmas-themed horror adventure? Well, that was me :/ Based on "You should only ask practical, answerable questions based on actual problems that you face. Chatty, open-ended questions diminish the usefulness of our site and push other questions off the front page." I don't see any way this question can have a definite answer, especially asking for "as many answers as possible". I don't mean it's a bad question, just not a good stackexchange question. |

Is a summoned tyrannosaurus overpowered? Also in the list of useful spells: Summon Monster VII, and summon a T-Rex behind the PCs. If a player finds a really effective strategy, copy it. I call it "Arms Race", and it works wonders. |

How to optimize a bard's ability with a bow in Pathfinder? Treantmonk has very good guides :) ALthough in that case I'm a bit confused by how/why the Archer part is almost totally independent from the bard part |

Looking for an evocative high fantasy rpg setting Agreed, "evocative" depends more on the GM than on the actual game. |

What types of damage are affected by the lance special rule? And I think we could extend any of the answers to the "brace" quality for weapons. |

What book is “HP” in Shadowrun? Yep it is, and a very good one :) Actually, in Tools > Options > General, you see a list of the Sourcebooks used by the generator, so you can easily find which book corresponds to which abbreviation. |
