How can I invoke actual fear in my players? Well, humans bring a thing that monster don't: the social dimension. There can be dozens of them, they can have friends, and it is often forbidden to kill them. They can more easily hide in the city than an Old Red Dragon Tucker's kobolds principles are also relevant :) But yes, being slightly supernatural helps too. |

How do familiars, animal companions, cohorts, followers, and the like fit into the wealth by level progression? Fun fact: your cohort can have leadership, too. |

Pathfinder benchmarks Well, as I remember it in 3.5 you could have a Belt of Strength, Gloves of Dex and Amulet of Health. Purchasing the three at +6 would take three slots but cost 'only' 108000. This is not an option in PF, where all the physical boost items are Belts, hence the above linked belt, which is the only way of boosting all physical attributes (without going into custom items). But yeah, not a major point at all :) |

Pathfinder benchmarks Actually after thinking about it, I wonder if it wouldn't be useful to have an "Ability Score" part, mentioning what Ability Score a character should reasonably have at which level. |

Pathfinder benchmarks Yes, supposing a 36 in your main abilities might give people a big inferiority complex :) Especially given how much more expensive it became in PF to boost several abilities at the same time, and how there are overall less ways of getting hyper high stats. Actually, how messy would it be to add the values for more "common" stat values of around 24? |

Pathfinder benchmarks For the ones who rely on HD, do you think there would be a way to put the resulting values for levels 5/10/15/20? Would make it easier to consult :) |

Samurais studying abroad: automatic killing machines? It is true that usually, it seems that Techniques of rank 1,3,5 seems better than rank 2 & 4. And thus a 1+1 would be better than a 2, but we can assume than on the next rank, a 1+2 might be weaker than a 3. Anyway, thanks for the answer and the examples! |

How many attacks can an Olethrodaemon get with a full round attack? @JeorMattan Which would be overpowered (although Greater MW Fighting and Perfect MW Fighting are not in Pathfinder). What we are talking about is that for a new GM seeing a monster with 7 attacks at its max attack bonus, yes, this can SEEM overpowered. |
