comment Are partially charged wands generally purchasable?
In a big place I have no problem with most anything under the limit being available. Small places, though--the amount of magic around is totally out of line with the economy of the town. Small places will have the most common items but the odds are they won't have anything oddball.

@HeyICanChan Assuming he can scribe the scroll in a single day (and I think he can of anything that can be in a wand) you're right.

It's not reasonable to expect every item under the limit--you're not going to have a hard line where nothing above the fence and everything below it exists in any real-world market.

@Erik You can't record a wand in your spellbook.

comment How can I suggest the DM stop trying to kill us?
And even if you don't go with the pure classical approach there are people like me that will keep you from dying if you simply have bad luck but if you're going to be stupid about it, it's your funeral.

comment How to kill PC without hard feelings
All too often it's Situation 3: There's a monster out there they think has some nice loot and they want that loot--and don't get the idea that it's too tough for them, come back some other day.

comment Is it really this easy for a rogue to flank?
It's been this way for multiple versions: Gang up on a monster and you generally get sneak-attack damage on it.

comment Could you be able to hide your mount with HiPS?
@SangoProductions What I'm saying is that while you might be able to hide your horse, unless the horse is very well trained in hiding the horse is going to do something that wipes out your careful hiding. A human can understand to freeze as directed, the horse normally can't.

@SangoProductions Sure, magic can be applied to the horse. Skills are another matter, though.

Another factor: Unless you have a very well-trained horse, even if you managed to hide it would it stay hidden??

comment Is there any way I can doff armor in a single turn?
@Maarten Except that a stripper is unlikely to start out wearing armor I agree. It sounds to me that that's what he's after--tear-away pseudo-armor.

@Jason_c_o It's not like he needs to hide it. What's the harm in people knowing someone has a trick armor? The armorsmith need not know who it's actually for (he'll have seen their face, that doesn't mean he knows who they actually are) or that it's for a sorc pretending to be a fighter and not something theatrical.
