- The best gaming advice: Talk to each other like reasonable adults.
- Dice fudging and Rule Zero are bullshit.
- Dungeon World is a better D&D than D&D.
- Ignoring rules is a sign that you're playing the wrong game.
- Metagaming is not a four-letter word.
- System matters.
- “Wubba Wubba!”

Any advice on a good Respawn system for pathfinder Video games are not tabletop roleplaying games. How do you want your players to respond to this? If death becomes an annoyance instead of a finality (or near finality, in the case of Pathfinder's resurrection capabilities), then all you're doing is literally annoying your players. |

Is there a good way to find out if a Grandmaster exists for a skill? Irrespective of what you find, a good quest would be for the characters to go about discovering, getting to, and convincing said grandmaster to teach them. |

At what point did polyhedral dice become part of D&D? @Jonn_Underwood Kriegsspiel was published and translated into several languages, but not in the tabletop/board game sense, at least not initially. More information at http://www.kriegsspiel.org.uk. |

How to motivate players without the promise of gold and XP? Or it might not! If the players buy in and own their heartlessness, then you can work that into their future adventures. Or you could tell them that's not the kind of game you want to run. Talk to the players! |
