comment I'm DMing for a party of two. How can I make sure my players have classes that can play well together?
this isn't 100% true. Combat in 5e is very lethal at lower levels, and if you have 2 characters with d6 hit dice, you're probably going to go down to a random crit.

comment RPG sytem which is based on character's character not stats
Fate still has skill points, which are rather important for adjudication.

comment How to respond to “stress tracks / narrative consequences are arbitrary”?
my point was that it's possible to construct a narrative for that scenario (punching through glass w/ no consequence) even if it isn't immediately obvious.

comment How could discipline be used to aim weapons?
+1 one of the explicit applications of stunts is to substitute one skill for another.

If you succeed on your glass-punching roll: "You crack the glass, pull your hand back, and it shatters a second later". "The safety glass shatters in a controlled manner and crystals fall to the floor."

comment Does picking up a weapon or drawing one take an action?
@Sheepy I think your comment should be edited in to the answer.

usually by the time you get to 10th level your PC's scope has grown beyond a city's rat problem...

comment Is there any reason to discourage “arms racing” during exchanges?
I was under the impression that all invocations needed to be declared BEFORE the roll, which would make this arms race impossible.

comment As a first-time DM should I let my players play complex character classes and roles?
The character class was Noble with Vow of Peace.

comment How would you create a MtG RPG Campaign/Game?
I once had a character in a D&D campaign who learned spells based on Magic cards. When he learned a new spell, a new card would be added to the deck. Then he could use an ability to "draw" a card and play the spell.

comment Produce high-contrast numbers on un-painted dice?
I have had a lot of trouble with marking their transparent dice as black marker doesn't have enough contrast.
