Roleplayer, lapsed blogger, and full-time dad.

Started playing with AD&D 1e and GMing with AD&D 2e. Ran D&D 3.x, 4e briefly, then became a fan of indie games and the OSR and expanded my horizons from there. Fond of GMless and short-form games that suit a busy schedule and are good for enticing non-gamers into the hobby.

revised Does DR apply to damage from Diehard?
format link & pull in quote, plus emphasis of the relevant parts (since it's otherwise talking about spells)

revised How does damage reduction work with falling damage?
a copyedit pass to integrate the edits into a cohesive whole ("edit" notes are redundant with the revision history feature), format the link, and pull in the relevant quote from it

I see you have the rules-as-written tag, but have not mentioned which rules.

@BrianBallsun-Stanton Sadly no. Very little AW playing, and persistent bugs, has pushed it off the back burner and into Tupperware at the back of the fridge.

@gomad Yes, at first. It was broad and unfocused. Now it's still closed because the asker has clarified that they want us to curate a list for them to browse.

copyedit; doesn't need any tag that's about the surrounding context of the problem, tags are just for categorising the problem itself

We still don't use code formatting for prose. You're not attributing the text to anyone, you're saying it's your own words, so it's not going to be confused with a quote. Think of it as a breakout box. Or, use some other kind of prose formatting like italics for the paragraph. Whichever, don't use code formatting for things that aren't code. Not only does it look ugly, it's also lying to the browser about what it is.

The missing-party GMPC definition isn't the only definition outside 1d4chan either. It can mean that, and it can mean a super-awesome NPC the GM is emotionally invested in. The definition you wrote is plenty to clarify which you mean. In the end, 1d4chan simply has nothing to do with the concept, except for being one of many places online that talks about GMPCs.

You're basically asking us to design a system for you. I'm voting to close as "too broad". If you meant to ask a more focused design question, or you meant to ask for a recommendation of a game you could/should play/steal from, you can edit the question to say so.
