How to handle spell components in AD&D 1st edition FYI, word around the campfire is that spell components are a joke. Literally. They're supposed to be funny. rpg.stackexchange.com/questions/8721/… |

What is the “average human” stat for Savage Worlds? It's only common sense if PCs are not exceptional compared to the rest of humanity. That's why it wasn't obvious to me. That and my apparently poor reading comprehension. |

Should PCs be limited to choosing forms into which to polymorph (or wild shape, etc.) that the PCs have previously encountered? A better word than "realism" might be "verisimilitude". |

How do I get the PCs to visit scary places at night? Excellent point! What makes Blair Witch, et al scary is that their field of view is restricted, they're lost, and things just ain't right... AND it's getting dark, so they know it's about to get way WORSE. |

How do I get the PCs to visit scary places at night? I upvoted even though I really dislike #1. It's railroading, plain and simple, and I'm the kind of person who can't stand railroading. Your other suggestions are really good though, so they won out. |

Is there a pen and paper rpg adaptation of Half Life? I agree completely. I do really appreciate the feedback. Hope I didn't come off as complaining. |

Is there a pen and paper rpg adaptation of Half Life? Oh, I see, it's a recent development. I like it. Per the recommendation, you're totally within your rights to downvote (viciously), but I appreciate that you didn't since I wasn't actually breaking protocol when I wrote this answer. To be fair, the OP asks if anyone knows of a system, not if anyone has experience with a system. Perhaps an unintended consequence of our sys-rec policy is that little used resources will tend to remain obscure, while widely-used resources will tend to remain well-known. So we may end up inadvertently promoting inferior resources with good marketing. |

Is there a pen and paper rpg adaptation of Half Life? I didn't realize we had system recommendation rules. WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED?! :) |

How do you deal with missing players? Yes. That reminds us, we need to do laundry this weekend. |

Where's my share of the loot? But characters aren't real, so it's an issue between players isn't it? |
