comment When should I fudge dice rolls?
"Wouldn't it be more enjoyable for everyone (player and DM) if the character didn't die at the hands of a low-level, non-boss cannon fodder monster?" Not necessarily. I, for one, prefer to face the consequences of my choices as a player, whether they involve character death or not. Why bother playing otherwise?

comment Dealing with large amount of dice rolls for a single damage roll without making it drag on
People don't only play for fun (especially immediate fun). There are some games that provide very powerful experiences, which are often unpleasant. (Most of these are Jeepform games or structured freeform games, but also some that use dice do exist, I think.)

Whether fudging is acceptable or even possible depends on the way you play. It is not always okay. The first sentence is quite simplified and does not reflect reality well.

comment Large (10ft.) Creature Crossing 5ft. Gap
Suppose you have a colossal creature, for which stepping over a 5 foot ditch should not be a problem at all. Is there any other solution in that case, or must that creature also make a trivial jump check?

comment Incorporating Burning Wheel style beliefs into a Pathfinder campaign
@thedarkwanderer Yes, I would say it often is. It can of course be played in other ways, and my claim is based on personal experience and internet rumours, so I may be wrong. Please let me know of evidence to the opposite direction.
