I am an avid RP and tabletop gamer, currently designing a tabletop skirmish game of my own. It is a hobby of mine to sit down with a core book for a game and decipher its system.

comment How do I build Riddick?
Multiclassing (IMHO) just messes with your skills, which at higher level you have to max out to stand a chance against any comparable adversary.

The only traits the car would really need to have would be around durability and maneuverability since the rest is up to the driver. If you really want to have fun with it, you could call a vehicle a form of "Borrowed Power".

comment Game with Interesting Combat that is Crunch Heavy and is built to not Require a Grid?
Every roll in Unisystem is based on Margins of Success/Failure so when you get into a combat and you succeed by certain amounts and get instant injuries/kills. I've played their All Flesh Must Be Eaten setting personally and it's easy to pick up. There is also a Cinematic System from them if you want to get all John Woo on things.

comment Underground as an engaging environment?
With my games underground and above ground tend to only be separated by stating that there's a ceiling or not - it's all in the presentation of the NPCs.

The "false-flag" is always a favorite.
