comment How can I use a frame story and keep a sense of danger and mystery?
I think "turned undead" could make perfect sense if it's the right kind of undead - drinking with someone's ghost would be a neat twist.

comment How do I make a physical challenge for Dawn-caste Solar Exalted?
I'm also partial to having one D-B blow all his essence for Ringing Anvil Onslaught (lifts the limit on how many people can attack the target, also adds onslaught penalties) and another create a heavy-duty coordinated attack, so that the whole Wyld Hunt can go after one particular "trouble figure" in a single round.

On the "not fighting fair" front, the D-B Investigation charms are some if the most powerful in the game. There's a pair of them that say, "I know where you call home" and "I know who all your friends are." Good opportunity to call for some Virtue checks, I say.

If you're bringing in Terrestrials, you can also have the Dawn accidentally brutalize other party members. Give a Wyld Hunt a member Unassailable Body of (Element) and Safety Among Enemies in a combo. Perfect dodge and redirect the attack.

comment How can I make BRP less variable?
This is similar to the approach taken by Unknown Armies, which I was about to suggest myself. Skills are rated at the "someone's trying to kill you" level, not at the "just chillin' in my driveway" level. Upvoted!
