Um. I am totally new to RPGs. I've only participated in ten or so campaigns. I suck as a player. My suckiness is magnified a thousand times over when I try to be a DM, or whatever you call it. Fortunately, I have patient friends.
I write the campaigns I run. I suck at that, too.

Do Warlord powers which affect an attack apply both attacks of Twin Strike? Oh, and I'm embarrassed to say, I have no idea what nerfing is. |

Do Warlord powers which affect an attack apply both attacks of Twin Strike? Thanks, Brian, but I'm still confused. First, my quote wasn't wrong. The character sheet in Character Builder, at least in the older version I have, says "targets." Nevertheless, I get the point: both attacks must miss to get the THP. But I'm not clear on whether you're saying, if both attacks hit, that the ranger gets twice the bonus. If not, and two hits simply means one bonus, does that mean if one misses and one hits that the ranger doesn't get the bonus damage OR the THP. Sorry, the buffs/debuffs got me mixed up. Thanks again for your help. |

What kind of monsters should I use against a monk in 4e? @wax eagle Ha! I asked myself the same thing when I finished. I didn't start writing thinking it was going to be that long. |

What kind of monsters should I use against a monk in 4e? Monks rely mainly on melee/touch attacks, so you need enemies that can either survive those attacks long enough to deal damage to the monk, or enemies who are difficult to reach. You might try a combination of characters. Maybe a couple high-hp baddies with reach weapons up front, teamed with some ranged guys who will be difficult for the monk to approach, due to terrain. Either/both the guys up front or/and the guys in back should have slowing, immobilizing, or dazing attacks, which would reduce the monks' effectiveness in his preferred attack-and-move or move-and-attack powers. Good luck! |

Non-magical encounter suggestions Creating and adding "non-magical" tag. Is there a better way to word this? I'd like it to cover items, creatures, and environments. |

How can a Rogue gets attacks in another player or monsters turn? Could they action point a held standard for the above situation? Then they would get the sneak attack twice in a round. Not sure if that's allowed, though. |
