Um. I am totally new to RPGs. I've only participated in ten or so campaigns. I suck as a player. My suckiness is magnified a thousand times over when I try to be a DM, or whatever you call it. Fortunately, I have patient friends.

I write the campaigns I run. I suck at that, too.

May 18	comment	Is it possible to roll Stealth versus multiple targets when one or more can see you? I've wondered about this before, too. If you're hidden from several enemies, can't the one who can see you can simply turn to the others and tell them where you are? "Hey, she's crouched behind that crate!" The others can't see you, but they know where you are. That doesn't seem the same as being "hidden." How would that affect combat advantage?

May 5	comment	How do you generate reasonable prices for goods and services not listed in the PHB? Wow. That link is great! I love the idea of using syllables to determine things. I have long had a theory that NFL quarterbacks who have more syllables in their first name than their last are destined to bust. Jamarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf, David Carr, etc. Yes, Warren Moon is the exception. Lesson: If you want to be an NFL quarterback and you have more syllables in your first name than your last, you first have to go win five Canadian Football League championships. (Sorry, this is off-topic. Great link, though.)

May 4	comment	How do I promote my gaming campaigns? It would also be helpful to know what options each site provides for you to recruit players. How are you using those resources? What response have you gotten so far? It's going to be hard to give advice without knowing what you're already doing. It seems like you're asking what you can do right, without allowing for what you might be doing wrong. I don't mean that to sound insulting, but Jadasc is right, more information would help others provide useful answers.

My Pc is traveling alone and needs some cool stuff to allow him to survive. When I tell him what he can get for the gear he thinks is super-valuable (3gp), I'm guessing he'll have second thoughts.
