Running games for a constantly unreliable group To add to 3): talk with the players what are their characters going to do during the session. The players know where the game is heading and can give guidelines - much like the GM prepares for a session. |

Non-magical encounter suggestions I love this answer! Rob, care if I steel all of your ideas? Mala's answer is similar, but too ... social - my players do not care about helping. Your answer provides situations that directly require to be dealt with. If you could expand more, or maybe everyone expand this answer in the spirit of haw it has been started ... |

As a GM, what aids could I use to create adventure scenes on the spot? Posted a question on where to get tarrot cards to give it a go |

As a GM, what aids could I use to create adventure scenes on the spot? IMO, this is an insightful answer, that however places too dark a flavour. Things need to get interesting, not necessarily wrong. Also pubs do not burn down to the ground every evening :D |

As a GM, what aids could I use to create adventure scenes on the spot? This answer to another question seems a lot on topic here. If PZiviani would just expand on that! |

Non-magical wilderness (forest) threats +1 because One - at first my question was a lot more vague, and this answer was on-topic (now it is not, and bound to attract downvotes, unfortunately). And second, because It convinced me to add a fantasy element - turns out the temple of undead would tie several loose story ends one to another. Thanks, Zachiel. |
