Owned Cyberpunk 2020 and LOTR:RPG books years before I actually played any real RPGs; I've only been playing pen and paper RPGs since 2006. My first experience was with Vampire The Masquerade and then a bit of 3.5 D&D. I didn't fully get into the hobby until 2012 when a friend started a 4e campaign and invited me to play and I dove in. I currently play 4e, 13th Age, Savage Worlds and Colonial Marines. I try to read up on as many RPG mechanics as I can and look forward to trying more RPGs in the future.

My background before RPGs comes from video games, board games, and war games before I played RPGs.

21h	comment	Savage Worlds: Safety Harnesses and Airbags? My thoughts exactly, I assumed Half rounded down w/ airbags first as its the only Order of Operations that allows you to reach the 1d6. 7d6/2 round down =3d6 -1d6 (airbags) =2d6. 2d6 / 2 (seatbelts) = 1d6

May 10	comment	What can you make a dominated creature do? Those saves you mention happen whenever you would try to force move someone into dangerous or hindering terrain.

I would create them in the same file just for housekeeping purposes, You can have more than one plot flowchart in an adventure project, right? (I don't have as much experience with Masterplan as I would like since I was trying to use it to run 4e encounters and it didn't support as well as inCombat through iPlay4e did.

May 7	comment	How can I motivate my fellow players? @mxyzplk I don't know that any of my suggestions work (or anyone else's) without some kind of interaction from the other players and the GM. I assumed it goes without saying that you would need to pitch it to the group and have them accept it. You could however bring your own props with some extra props and just see if people want to use them. Likewise you could also try to create break times by you yourself saying "I really need to take a break" every 2 hours and the rest of the people just following along.

May 2	comment	What's the best class to be Yes, we need a specific D&D version and also what your character optimization goals are (deal lots of damage in one round, deal a high average damage every round, miss as little as possible, have high defenses, etc.) as there are a limited number of powers and feats to take for each character and opportunity cost comes into play. Juggernaut isn't base class in either of those versions of D&D though. (Prestige class in 3.5 or Paragon path in 4e).
